The 3rd Annual Byron Latin Fiesta took place from 31st Oct - 2nd Nov 2008.

Once again it was an awesome event!!! Dispite some venue problems in lead up
& the sun not shining all the time ... everyone still had a great time!!!

"this year's Byron Latin Fiesta was my first time attending the event and I ended up going on my own (I'm from the Sunshine Coast) so I was quite nervous....but I didn't need to be as everybody was so friendly and the atmosphere so inviting and fun...was one of the best events I have ever been too and will definately be going next year in 2009 (hopefully can get some friends to come with me this time!).
The level & diversity of dancing that was shown at the event has help inspire me to work much harder at my own dancing skills. I was also lucky enough to make some fabulous new dancing friends!!!

"it was a wonderful inspite of the venue problems.
It seemed to me to be more popular than even
last year...and I am glad that it is building into
something wonderful. It was delightful having Larissa and Kadu stay with me.....and hopefully I will have my room available next year as well.
Sorry you didn't get to visit for that cuppa....but I imagine you were pretty exhausted....

It is one of the main reasons that we feel that Byron Bay is the perfect place for a Latin Fiesta. That and the fact that Byron Bay is as close to Latin America (geographically speaking) as you can get in Australia!
